To provide a refrigerator facilitating recipe search only by voice.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: voice recognition means for recognizing voice from the outside; communication means for transmitting voice information by the voice recognition means to an external device; display means for displaying information received from the external device; search means for searching for a recipe related to food materials displayed on the display means; door opening/closing detecting means for detecting opening/closing of a door; and a human sensor sensing whether a person is present in front of a storage room or not. The voice recognition means is actuated when it is detected that the door is opened, or it is detected that a person is present with the human sensor, and the name of a food item can be input by voice and it is possible to easily search for a recipe only by voice. Furthermore, owing to that it is not necessary to always actuate the voice recognition means by interlocking with door opening/closing and the human sensor, it is possible to prevent erroneous recognition and achieve energy saving.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 29 【課題】音声だけでレシピ検索が容易にできる冷蔵庫の提供。【解決手段】外部からの音声を認識する音声認識手段と、音声認識手段による音声情報を外部機器に伝送する通信手段と、外部機器から受信した情報を表示する表示手段と、表示手段に表示された食材に関連するレシピを検索する検索手段と、扉の開閉を検知する扉開閉検知手段と、貯蔵庫前の人の在否を感知する人感センサとを備え、扉の開を検知したときや人感センサで人がいることを検知した場合に前記音声認識手段を動作させ、食品の名称を音声入力することが可能となり、音声だけでレシピ検索が容易にできる。またドア開閉や人感センサに連動させることによって、常に音声認識手段を動作させなくて済むため、誤認識を防ぐことができるとともに省エネにもなる。【選択図】図２９
