To provide a calming device for fish capable of calming surely without generating breakage of a backbone or internal bleeding, when landing together a plurality of fishes.SOLUTION: A calming device for fish has a fish sliding-down plate 8 comprising a conductive material and arranged obliquely so that fish can pass therethrough with a self-weight, and a plurality of flexible linear electrodes 14 hung down from an electrode frame 16 positioned over the fish sliding-down plate 8, for energizing by making contact with fish, in which a current is made to flow between the linear electrodes 14 having a contact with fish and the fish sliding-down plate 8 through the fish, to thereby calm the fish.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】複数の魚を纏めて水揚げする際に、脊椎の折損や内出血を発生させることなく確実に鎮静化することできる魚の鎮静化装置を提供すること。【解決手段】魚が自重で通過するように傾斜配置された導電材料からなる魚滑落板８と、魚滑落板８の上方に位置する電極枠１６に垂設され、魚に接触して通電する複数の可撓性線状電極１４とを有し、魚が接触した線状電極１４と魚滑落板８との間に魚を介して通電し、魚を鎮静化する。【選択図】 図１
