To provide a settlement device which facilitates operation to insert coins into a slot on a coin change machine after spreading the coins.SOLUTION: A settlement device comprises: a coin receiving and disbursing unit which receives and disburses coins in accordance with settlement processing; a housing which stores the coin receiving and disbursing unit; a coin slot which is installed on the housing and enables the coins to be inserted into the coin receiving and disbursing unit therethrough; and a money placement section which is arranged in a width direction of the settlement device and connected to the coin slot, has a shape of a concave including a money placement plane where the coins subjected to the settlement processing are temporarily placed, and enables the coins to be inserted into the coin slot by being slid on the money placement plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】硬貨を並べた後に硬貨釣銭機に対する硬貨投入口へ入れる作業を容易に行うことができる決済装置を提供する。【解決手段】決済装置は、決済処理に応じて硬貨を入出金する硬貨入出金装置と、前記硬貨入出金装置を収納する筐体と、前記筐体に設けられ、前記硬貨入出金装置に対して硬貨を投入する硬貨投入口と、前記硬貨投入口に対して装置幅方向に連接され、前記決済処理にかかる硬貨を一時的に載せる金銭載置面を含んで凹形状を形成し、前記金銭載置面上を滑らせて硬貨を前記硬貨投入口に投入可能とした金銭載置部と、を備える。【選択図】図４
