SETTLEMENT SYSTEM

To provide a novel settlement system that, even when there is a purchase product not readable by a reading device, enables processing of the non-readable purchase product even in a conventional settlement counter without causing customers to stay at the settlement counter.SOLUTION: A settlement system comprises: a conveyer 2 that conveys a purchase product M along a settlement lane 1; a reading device 3 that reads information attached to the purchase product M in an intermediate part of the conveyer 2; and a POS device 5 that calls product information on the purchase product M from a POS server 4 in accordance with the information read by the reading device 3, and displays the information, and executes settlement processing of the purchase product M on the basis of a payment condition offered by a customer.
