Zusammenfassung: | To provide a bumper reinforcement that is able to further increase absorption of collision energy by hindering buckling of an internal reinforcement member after collision load reaches the maximum load.SOLUTION: An internal reinforcement member disposed in the middle, in a longitudinal direction, of the inside of a closed cross-section formed by a body member and a lid member is formed in a cylindrical shape a cross-section of which is substantially rectangular. While both ends, in a longitudinal direction, of the reinforcement member are joined to a bottom face part of the body member and the lid member, the reinforcement member is disposed to define a predetermined space between both side wall parts of the body member. In a central portion, in the longitudinal direction, of each face opposite the bottom face part of the body member and the lid member, a pair of recesses are provided, which recede inside with a predetermined width and along a longitudinal direction and are joined together in contact with each other. The predetermined space between both the side wall parts of the body member and the internal reinforcement member is configured such that, in the event that the central part in the longitudinal direction is subject to collision load via a pair of flange parts, both the side wall parts of the body member deform inside and come into contact with the internal reinforcement member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】衝突荷重が最大荷重に到達した後、内部補強部材の座屈を抑制し、衝突エネルギー吸収量の更なる増大化を図ることができるバンパリインフォースメントを提供する。【解決手段】本体部材と蓋部材とによって形成される閉断面の内部の長手方向中央に配設される内部補強部材は、断面略矩形の筒状に形成されて、長手方向両端部が本体部材の底面部と蓋部材に接合された状態で、本体部材の両側壁部との間に所定隙間を形成するように配設され、本体部材の底面部と蓋部材に対向する各面の長手方向中央部分には、長手方向に沿って所定幅で内側に窪んで互いに当接した状態で接合される一対の凹部を有し、本体部材の両側壁部と内部補強部材との所定隙間は、一対のフランジ部を介して長手方向中央部に衝突荷重を受けた場合に、本体部材の両側壁部が内方へ変形して内部補強部材に当接するように構成する。【選択図】図5 |
