To provide a ball for exercise which can be gripped easily by a hand.SOLUTION: A ball 1 for exercise comprises a skin layer 20 forming a surface of a spherical surface state, the skin layer 20 is formed of skin panels 21 on which a triangular recess 123 or salient is formed. The skin panel 21 is a triangular and the skin layer 20 is formed by jointing a plurality of the skin panels 21 through seams S or dummy seams DS, and has a pentagon part PE on which, five skin panels 21 are arranged and adjacent to share one apex V.
