PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINTING METHOD

To improve a printing quality when reciprocating scanning without requirement for a complicated control circuit.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises a carriage 301 in which plural ink jet heads 301b, 301c, 301d, 301e for discharging ink droplets of different colors are so located as to be arranged in a carriage scanning direction and which moves relatively to a medium, and discharges ink droplets onto the medium from the ink jet heads 301a to 301e and performs multi-pass reciprocation printing.
