To provide a bathroom having no need of separately mounting any handrails.SOLUTION: A bathroom 1 includes a bathtub 12, a washing place 11 adjacent to the bathtub 12, a wall part 13 mounted across the washing place 11 and the bathtub 12, and a front plate part 3 provided over the whole length in the width direction of a wall surface 13a across the washing place 11 and the bathtub 12 on the wall surface 13a of the wall part 13 and having a function as a handrail. The front plate part 3 is fixed to the wall surface 13a via end fixation parts (fixation parts 4) disposed on the side of the washing place 11 and on the side of the bathtub 12, and a middle fixation part (fixation part 4) disposed between the end fixation parts on both of the sides. A space between the middle fixation part and one side of the end fixation parts, and a space between the middle fixation part and the other side of the end fixation parts are made to be storage spaces 14a with their upper parts open, and shelf parts 5 which are formed of longitudinal wire material and lateral wire material, which are long in the width direction of the wall surface 13a and on which objects can be placed, are disposed in each of the storage spaces 14a on both sides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】手摺りを別途設ける必要がない、浴室を提供する。【解決手段】浴室１は、浴槽１２と、浴槽１２に隣接する洗い場１１と、洗い場１１と浴槽１２とに跨って設置される壁部１３と、壁部１３の壁面１３ａにおいて、洗い場１１と浴槽１２とに跨るように壁面１３ａの幅方向の全長に亘って設けられ、手摺りとしての機能を有する前板部３と、を備える。前板部３は、洗い場１１側と浴槽１２側とに配置される端固定部（固定部４）と、この両側の端固定部の間に配置される中固定部（固定部４）と、を介して壁面１３ａに固定されるものである。中固定部と一方側の端固定部との間及び中固定部と他方側の端固定部との間を上方に開口した収納スペース１４ａとして、この両側の収納スペース１４ａそれぞれに、縦線材と横線材とで構成されて壁面１３ａの幅方向に長尺で、その上に物品を載置することができる棚部５が配置される。【選択図】図１
