Zusammenfassung:To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing reduction in efficiency of a rotary electric machine, and the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 11 comprises: a cylindrical stator 15 having a stator core 27 provided with a stator coil 29; and a rotor 21 having a rotor core 31 supported by a rotary shaft 19 and provided with a plurality of permanent magnets 35 along a circumferential direction and a pair of end face plates 41, 43 provided at respective end portions of the rotor core 31 in a shaft direction, and being rotatably provided in a hollow section of the stator 15. The rotor core 31 is provided with a refrigerant flow passage 37 that penetrates the rotor core 31 in an axial direction.
