Zusammenfassung:To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which is suppressed in the shortage of torque after the execution of a cam changeover operation while suppressing the occurrence of a difference (torque step) of in-cylinder charge air amounts before and after the execution of the cam changeover operation when a specified cam changeover condition is satisfied.SOLUTION: When a specified cam changeover condition in which a cam changeover operation to a second cam from a first cam is performed accompanied by an increase of required engine torque is satisfied during a use of a high-load region in which throttle downstream pressure is higher than atmospheric pressure, a control device performs boost pressure control processing and air amount control processing. In the boost pressure control processing, the control device controls a WGV 36 so that a WGV opening becomes small according to an increase of the required engine torque after the execution of the cam changeover operation without causing an increase of the WGV opening in conjunction with the execution of the cam changeover operation. In the air amount control processing, the control device controls an opening of a throttle valve 28 to a closing side in conjunction with the cam changeover operation so that a difference of in-cylinder charge air amounts before and after the execution of the cam changeover operation does not occur.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】特定カム切替条件が満たされる場合に、カム切替動作の実行の前後で筒内充填空気量の差(トルク段差)の発生を抑制しつつ、カム切替動作の実行後のトルク不足を抑制できるようにした内燃機関の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】制御装置は、スロットル下流圧が大気圧よりも高い高負荷領域の使用中に、要求エンジントルクの増加に伴って第1カムから第2カムへのカム切替動作を行う特定カム切替条件が満たされる場合に、過給圧制御処理と空気量制御処理とを実行する。過給圧制御処理において、制御装置は、WGV開度がカム切替動作の実行と連動して大きくなることなく、かつ、カム切替動作の実行の後に要求エンジントルクの増加に応じて小さくなるようにWGV36を制御する。空気量制御処理において、制御装置は、カム切替動作の実行の前後で筒内充填空気量の差を生じさせないように、カム切替動作と連動してスロットルバルブ28の開度を閉じ側に制御する。【選択図】図5
