To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle which is inexpensive and has high durability.SOLUTION: The air conditioner 100 for a vehicle comprises an evaporator 1, a heater core 2, a unit case 3 which partitions space 91 and at the same time is formed with a center blowout passage 94A and a side blowout passage 94b and a damper 9 which switches opening/closing state of the center blowout passage 94A and the side blowout passage 94B. The damper 9 includes a rotary shaft 31 capable of rotating around central axis A1, a first damper body 32 and a second damper body 33 which extend in mutually different directions.
