Zusammenfassung:To provide an intrusion detection method for making both compatible in safety of an operator and an improvement in productivity of work by a robot.SOLUTION: A safety monitoring system comprises a light projection part of juxtaposing a plurality of first light-emitting elements for emitting the light of the first wave length and a plurality of second light-emitting elements for emitting the light of the second wave length different from the first wave length, an imaging part for imaging the light projection part, an imaging processing part for detecting intrusion of an object based on an image imaged by the imaging part and a robot control part for generating a signal for controlling a movement of a robot from a result of detecting the intrusion. The light projection part is arranged on a boundary line of predicting a danger to the movement of the robot.
