To provide a rotary machine which comprises a function to warm up bearings and can reduce a waiting time before an operation starts.SOLUTION: A rotary machine includes: a rotor 3 rotating about a rotation shaft 4; a bearing 5 supporting the rotation shaft 4 and causing heat conduction with the rotor 3 via the rotation shaft 4; and a flow path 6 through which a circulating fluid for cooling the rotor 3 passes during operation, the warmed circulating fluid warms up the bearing 5 before the operation. A temperature detector 21 detects the temperature of the bearing 5, and before operation of the rotary machine 30, when the temperature of the bearing 5 detected by the temperature detector 21 is lower than the warm-up target temperature, the circulating fluid having a temperature equal to or higher than the warm-up target temperature may be input to the flow path 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】軸受を暖機する機能を備え、運転開始までの待機時間を短縮できる回転機を提供する。【解決手段】回転軸４を中心に回転する回転子３と、回転軸４を支持し、回転軸４を介して回転子３との間で熱電導が生じる軸受５と、運転中に回転子３を冷却させる循環液が内部を通る流路６と、を備え、運転前に、暖められた循環液によって軸受５を暖機する。軸受５の温度を検出する温度検出器２１を備え、流路６は、回転機３０の運転前であって、温度検出器２１によって検出された軸受５の温度が暖機目標温度より低い場合に、暖機目標温度以上の温度を有する循環液が入力されてよい。【選択図】図１
