Zusammenfassung:	To provide a can body, a manufacturing apparatus and method for the same, and a case-containing can set that can further motivate consumers to purchase while maintaining product identification power.SOLUTION: The can body has on a cylindrical body with a continuous pattern formed by arranging a plurality of first recesses of a single shape which is recessed radially inward of a reference surface at predetermined intervals and a through hole not having the first recess in at least a part of the continuous pattern. In addition, a plurality of through holes are arranged at the same height position in a can axis direction of the body.
