Zusammenfassung:To provide an optical connector that can easily built an engagement member in a housing without being restricted by the arrangement of a spring.SOLUTION: The optical connector includes: a housing for containing a ferrule so that the ferrule can move backward; a spring in the housing for pushing the spring forward; and an engagement member connected to one end of the spring and being in engagement with the housing to be fixed to the housing, the engagement member having a pair of arm parts and the arm parts holding the spring in between. The housing is provided with a window part in an upper surface and in a downward surface when the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the spring pushes the ferrule and the direction in which the pair of arm parts are lined is a vertical direction. The engagement member has a nail part in the upper and lower positions of the pair of arms in the vertical direction, the nail parts being in engagement with the window part, and has a deformation part for making the nail parts deformable in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】スプリングの配置による制約を受けずに、係合部材をハウジングに対して容易に組み立てることができる光コネクタを提供する。【解決手段】フェルールを後退可能に収容するハウジングと、前記ハウジングに収容され、前記フェルールを前側に押圧するスプリングと、前記スプリングの一端に接続するとともに、前記ハウジングに係合することで前記ハウジングに対して固定され、前記スプリングを挟むように配置された一対のアーム部を備える係合部材とを有する光コネクタであって、前記スプリングが前記フェルールを押圧する方向と、前記一対のアーム部が並ぶ方向とに垂直な方向を上下方向としたときに、前記ハウジングには、上下方向の両面に窓部がそれぞれ配置され、前記係合部材は、前記窓部に係合するように前記一対のアームの上下側に設けられた爪部と、前記爪部を上下方向に変位可能にする変形部とを備えることを特徴とする光コネクタである。【選択図】図2
