Zusammenfassung: | To create a novel method for starting preparation of an internal combustion engine configured as a gas engine or a dual-fuel engine.SOLUTION: In a step a), at first, when a cylinder-group-specific fuel supply valve (16) is closed, cylinder-individual fuel supply valves (17) are closed and a vent valve (18) is closed, a cleaning medium is filled in a predetermined manner in a fuel supply system (13) from which a gaseous fuel is discharged beforehand, and a pressure prevailing in the fuel supply system (13) is monitored whether the pressure is in a predetermined pressure range for a predetermined period. Then, when it is confirmed in the step a) that the pressure prevailing in the fuel supply system (13) is in the predetermined pressure range for the predetermined period, in a subsequent step b), the gaseous fuel is filled in the fuel supply system (13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
