To provide a vehicle-mounted device capable of minimizing an increase in time spent on authentication.SOLUTION: A vehicle-mounted device 1 comprises: a storage unit 4 configured to store biometric information 42 of users of a vehicle used for authentication; and a control unit 6 configured to either make it more difficult to authenticate biometric information 42 that has not been authenticated for a predetermined period of time, or erase the biometric information 42 from the storage unit 4.
