Zusammenfassung:To provide an additive concentrate suitable for an MDCL lubricant and having excellent stability, which does not cause adverse problems, and to provide a method for producing the same and a lubricant composition containing the same.SOLUTION: A method of preparing an additive concentrate for a marine engine lubricating oil composition includes a step (i) of providing the following (A) and (B) as separate additive components: (A) at least one overbased metal detergent, and (B) an oil-soluble alkoxylated alcohol, having an HLB in a range 7-9.5, represented by a formula R-[O-(CH)]-OH, where R is a linear alkyl group having from 12 to 20 carbon atoms, x is an integer from 1 to 10, y is an integer from 2 to 10, and a ratio of x/y is a value to provide the HLB in the above range; and a step (ii) of mixing an oil having lubricating viscosity in a concentrate-forming amount with an additive compound comprising (A) and (B). 【課題】有害な問題を引起すことのない、安定性に優れた、MDCL用潤滑油において有用な添加剤濃縮物、その製法およびこれを含む潤滑油組成物を提供する。【解決手段】船舶用エンジンの潤滑油組成物を得るための添加剤濃縮物の製造方法であって、(i)(A)及び(B)成分を別々の添加剤成分として準備する工程:(A)少なくとも1種の過塩基化金属洗浄剤、および(B)以下の式:R-[O-(CH2)x]y-OH(式中、Rは12〜20個の炭素原子を持つ線状アルキル基であり、xは1〜10の整数であり、yは2〜10の整数であり、x/yの比は上記範囲内のHLBを与える値である)によって表される、7〜9.5という範囲のHLBを持つ、油溶性のアルコキシル化アルコール;及び(ii)濃縮物形成量の潤滑粘度を持つオイルと(A)及び(B)を含む添加剤配合物とを混合する工程を含む製造方法に関する。
