On each of opposite side faces 14 of the turntables 13, an abrasive grain layer 15 is formed. Between both abrasive grain layers 15, an intermediate gear 34 as a carrier is located. The intermediate gear 34 is located in a gear system, and is rotated by a drive motor. A holding hole 35 is formed at a center of the intermediate gear 34. For example, a square pyramid-shaped work-piece W is fitted and held in the holding hole 35. Both turntables 13 are rotated at different rotational speeds, whereby, eve if areas of both end faces Wa, Wb of the work-piece W are different from each other, both end faces Wa, Wb can be equally ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】ワークの両端面の面積が異なっても、その両端面を均等に研削できる両頭研削盤を提供すること。【解決手段】同一軸線上に一対の回転盤13をそれぞれ単独で回転可能に配置する。回転盤13の対向側面14にはそれぞれ砥粒層15が形成されている。両砥粒層15間に、キャリアとしての中間歯車34が配置される。中間歯車34は歯車系列内に配置され、駆動モータによって回転される。中間歯車34の中心には保持孔35が形成されている。そして、保持孔35内に、例えば四角錐形状のワークWが嵌合されて保持される。そして、両回転盤13が異なる回転速度で回転されることにより、ワークWの両端面Wa,Wbの面積が異なっても、その両端面Wa,Wbを均等に研削できる。【選択図】図5 |
