Zusammenfassung:To achieve a lens barrel that enables a simple configuration to suppress dew condensation in a short time without providing dedicated air ventilation means.SOLUTION: A lens barrel has: a plurality of lens groups; a driving mechanism that is equipped with a driving source; control means for controlling the driving mechanism; and detection means that detects a temperature or moisture in the vicinity of the plurality of lens groups. The driving mechanism is the mechanism that moves at least one lens group of the plurality of lens groups in an optical axis direction, and the control means has: a first driving pattern that is used for the purpose of driving of the driving mechanism; and a second driving pattern that, with respect to the first driving pattern, is wide in a driving range, and is fast in a driving velocity.
