LUGGAGE TRANSFER SYSTEM

To provide a luggage transfer system which improves the transfer efficiency by replacing loading work of luggage after being sorted in size from the make conveyor to the containers in the backyard, which has been done by workers, with a mechanization method regarding dropped luggage at the check-in counter of an airport being loaded in containers in the backyard of the airport building and transferred to the cargo bay of airplanes.SOLUTION: A luggage transfer system has a carrying and loading device 10 between a make conveyor which is an upstream transfer route 2 and containers, 3a, 3b, 3c and so on, which are a downstream transfer route 3, and the carrying and loading device moves synchronously with the upstream transfer route 2 and carries and loads luggage 5, sorting them in size, to the downstream transfer route 3. With this system, the transfer work is automated and the transfer efficiency is enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】空港において搭乗手続きカウンターで預けた手荷物がターミナルビルのバックヤードでコンテナに積み込まれて航空機の貨物室まで搬送される。従来バックヤードのメイクコンベアからコンテナへの積み込み作業では、手荷物の大きさごとに纏めて積み込み作業が行われているが、係る積み込み作業は作業者の人手によっていたためこの点を改善して搬送効率を高める必要があった。【解決手段】上流側の搬送経路２であるメイクコンベアと、下流側の搬送経路３であるコンテナ３ａ，３ｂ，３ｃ...との間に、上流側の搬送経路２と同期して移動しつつ移載装置１０により手荷物５を大きさごとに纏めて下流側の搬送経路３へ移載する。これにより移載作業が無人化されて搬送効率が高められる。【選択図】図１
