To provide an energy recovery device which can restrain a scour at least near the upstream side of a bridge pier, and can facilitate installation and maintenance.SOLUTION: A hydraulic power generation device 10 includes a guide member 20 which is fixed along a vertical direction of a bridge pier 104 installed upright in a river 100, a slide member 22 which is slidably supported along the guide member 20, a water turbine 26 which is provided on the slide member 22 in such a manner that at least one of the water turbines is located at a position collided with a flow from the upstream side of the river 100 of the bridge pier 104 and is rotated by the flow of the river, and a power generator 28 which is connected with the water turbine 26 so as to generate power by rotation of the water turbine 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】橋脚の少なくとも上流側付近の洗掘を抑制することができ、設置及びメンテナンスが容易なエネルギー回収装置を得る。【解決手段】水力発電装置１０は、河川１００に立設された橋脚１０４の鉛直方向に沿って固定されたガイド部材２０と、ガイド部材２０に沿ってスライド可能に支持されたスライド部材２２と、スライド部材２２に設けられ、少なくとも１台が橋脚１０４の河川１００の上流からの流れとぶつかる位置に配置されると共に河川の流れにより回転する水車２６と、水車２６に接続され、水車２６の回転により発電する発電機２８と、を有する。【選択図】図１
