Zusammenfassung: | To achieve reduction in the width of each of a pair of skeleton members in such a configuration that a transparent member is bridged between the skeleton members.SOLUTION: A pillar structure 10 for a vehicle is structured so that a pillar glass 20 as a transparent member is bridged between a first skeleton member 16 and a second skeleton member 18 extending in the lengthwise direction of an A pillar 14 in a vehicle. The first skeleton member 16 and the second skeleton member 18 are each formed into a cylindrical shape without any seam in section and the pillar glass 20 is joined to transparent member joining surfaces 32 and 42 in a plane shape included in the skeleton members 16 and 18 respectively. Therefore, a flange required to weld two planar members for formation of the skeleton member or a flange required to join the pillar glass 20 is not necessary. Thus, the width of each of the skeleton members 16 and 18 can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】一対の骨格部材間に透明部材が架け渡された構成において、骨格部材の幅を細くする。【解決手段】自動車用ピラー構造10では、自動車のAピラー14の長手方向に延在する第1骨格部材16と第2骨格部材18との間に、透明部材としてのピラーガラス20が架け渡されている。第1骨格部材16及び第2骨格部材18は、断面に継目が無い筒状をなしており、各骨格部材16、18に含まれる平面状の透明部材結合面32、42にピラーガラス20が結合されている。このため、2枚の板材を溶接して骨格部材を形成する場合のフランジや、ピラーガラス20を結合するためのフランジが必要ない。これにより、各骨格部材16、18の幅を細くすることができる。【選択図】図2 |
