DRUM TYPE WASHING MACHINE

To provide a drum type washing machine which promotes infiltration of washing water sprayed in a drum into clothing, which increases a mechanical force imparted to the surface of the clothing by the washing water and which provides high washing performance.SOLUTION: The drum type washing machine comprises: an outer tub capable of storing liquid inside; a substantially cylindrical drum which is rotatably supported in the outer tub and in which clothing is stored; a motor rotationally driving the drum; water supply means supplying water to the inside of the outer tub; a circulation pump sucking washing water from the outer tub and delivering the washing water to a water spray nozzle in the drum; and operation control means controlling the motor, the water supply means and the circulation pump.
