To provide a screen of a screw press capable of reducing a dehydrated cake water content by improving fillability of a filtration chamber to a stock solution having low flowability.SOLUTION: A screw press includes a supply pipe connected to a starting end wall of a filtration chamber, such a screw blade that a starting end part of the screw blade is provided with a prescribed gap between itself and the starting end wall, and a screen having a nonporous cylinder part not having fine pores as long as a prescribed width on the starting end side. Hereby, accumulation of a solid portion on the filtration chamber starting end side is prevented, and a stock solution can be filled easily into a spiral passage of the screw blade, to thereby improve dewaterability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 流動性の低い原液に対して、ろ過室の充満性向上により脱水ケーキ含水率を低減するスクリュープレスのスクリーンを提供する。【解決手段】 スクリュープレスにおいて、ろ過室の始端壁に接続する供給管と、スクリュー羽根の始端部がろ過室の始端壁との間に所定の間隙を設けているスクリュー羽根と、始端側に所定の幅だけ微細孔を有していない無孔筒部を有するスクリーンと、を備え、固形分がろ過室始端側に堆積することを防止するとともに、スクリュー羽根の螺旋状路に原液が充填し易くなり脱水性が向上する。【選択図】 図２
