Zusammenfassung:To provide a defrosting control method for a show case that quickly defrosts an evaporator when necessary to prevent quality reduction of an article displayed in the case and enable elimination of wasteful power consumption caused by unnecessary defrosting.SOLUTION: A frost defrosting method for a show case includes: a step of calculating a frost formation amount of frost formed on an evaporator as a positive value using the product of a temperature adjustment ON time of a show case and a coefficient Kon varying depending on an environment around the show case; a step of calculating a frost melting amount of frost melted from the evaporator as a negative value using the product of a temperature adjustment OFF time of the show case and a coefficient Koff varying depending on the environment around the show case; a step of calculating an evaporator frost formation amount of frost formed on the evaporator by integrating the frost formation amount and the frost melting amount; a step of comparing the evaporator frost formation amount with a limit frost formation amount prescribed for ambient environment as the upper limit of a frost formation amount that can be defrosted; and a step of performing defrosting when the evaporator frost formation amount exceeds the limit frost formation amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】蒸発器の除霜を必要な場合に速やかに行い、庫内に陳列されている商品の品質低下を防止するとともに不要な除霜による消費電力の無駄使いをなくすことができるショーケースの除霜制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】ショーケースの温調オン時間とそのショーケースの周囲環境により変動する係数Konの積により蒸発器に着霜する着霜量を正の値として求める工程と、ショーケースの温調オフ時間とこのショーケースの周囲環境により変動する係数Koffの積により蒸発器から融霜される融霜量を負の値として求める工程と、着霜量と融霜量とを積算して蒸発器に着霜している蒸発器着霜量を求める工程と、除霜可能な着霜量の上限として周囲環境別に定められた限界着霜量と蒸発器着霜量とを比較する工程と、蒸発器着霜量が限界着霜量を超えた場合に除霜を行う工程と、を備える。【選択図】図2
