HEATING APPARATUS, IMAGE APPLICATION APPARATUS, AND IMAGE APPLICATION METHOD

To provide a heating apparatus capable of performing a stable heating of a printed cloth in an image application apparatus for printing an image on a cloth.SOLUTION: The heating apparatus 500 comprises a front door 502 that opens and closes an opening 511 through which a cassette 200 of an apparatus main body 501 is taken in and out, door lock means that locks opening/closing of the front door 502, and a controller that controls the heating operation by heating means 504. A receiving member 503 is relatively movable with respect to the heating means 504. The relative position of the receiving member 503 includes a stand-by position and a heating position in which a cloth 400 is heated by the heating means 504. The heating apparatus 500 performs control such that, when the receiving member 503 is in the heating position, the front door 502 is locked by the door lock means.
