FLOOR TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

To provide a floor type air conditioner capable of driving smoothly even a large and heavy front panel.SOLUTION: A floor type air conditioner includes: a front panel 6 for covering a front surface of a housing; and panel drive means 12 for moving the front panel 6 to the front side. The panel drive means 12 includes: a base member 24 mounted on the housing side; a drive part 21 having an electric motor 21b provided at the base member 24; arms 22a, 22b, 22c, 22d rotationally driven by the drive part 21; and a panel support member 23 sliding in the frontward/backward direction by the rotation of the arms being linked with the arms in a movable manner. The panel support member is mounted on the front panel with the length substantially stretching across the whole length of the front panel vertically.
