APARTMENT BUILDING

To provide an apartment building that avoids monotonous design of an apartment building and is not detrimental to townscape.SOLUTION: An apartment building of the present invention comprises a plurality of dwelling blocks connected to each other. Each of the dwelling blocks that are adjacent to each other includes: a lower-story main part having a prescribed width dimension; a lower-story projection that projects toward a passageway side, the passageway having a width dimension smaller than the prescribed width and extends in the connecting direction from the lower-story main part only on a side in the connecting direction; an upper-story main part having the prescribed width dimension; an upper-story projection that projects toward the passageway side, the passageway having a width dimension smaller than the prescribed width dimension and extending from the upper-story main part only on the side; and a verandah projecting toward the passageway side from a location of the upper-story main part where the upper-story projection does not project. The upper-story projection projects toward the passageway side more than the lower-story projection and the verandah.
