Zusammenfassung:To improve the charge and life characteristics of a lead storage battery while suppressing the falling of an active material (negative electrode material) from a collector in a negative electrode plate.SOLUTION: A lead storage battery comprises: a positive electrode plate; and a negative electrode plate having a collector and a negative electrode material supported by the collector. The negative electrode material contains fibers at a percentage of 0.05 mass% or more and 0.40 mass% or less. The fibers have an average length of 1 mm or more and 6 mm or less, and an average volume specific resistance value of 10Ωcm or more and under 10Ωcm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】鉛蓄電池の負極板における集電体からの活物質(負極材料)の脱落を抑制しつつ、充電特性および寿命特性を向上させる。【解決手段】鉛蓄電池は、正極板と、集電体と集電体に支持された負極材料とを有する負極板と、を備える。負極材料は、0.05質量%以上、0.40質量%以下の割合で繊維を含有している。繊維の平均長さは、1mm以上、6mm以下であり、繊維の平均体積固有抵抗値は、103Ω・cm以上、109Ω・cm未満である。【選択図】図2
