To provide a fixing device including a plurality of pressing parts with different loads for pressing a rotating member with a belt member therebetween, and prevent wear of the surface of the belt member of the fixing device.SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a pressure belt; a fixing roller that rotates in contact with the pressure belt and conveys a sheet through between the pressure belt and fixing roller; an upstream pad member 70 that is provided on the inner periphery of the pressure belt and presses the fixing roller with the pressure belt therebetween; and a downstream pad member 80 that is provided downstream in the direction of movement of the pressure belt with respect to the upstream pad member 70 and presses the fixing roller with the pressure belt therebetween with a larger load than that of the upstream pad member 70.
