PULLEY WINDING PREVENTION APPARATUS AND PULLEY

To provide a pulley winding prevention apparatus that allows smooth passing of a wire rope and prevents winding of a foreign object into a sheave, and a pulley.SOLUTION: A winding prevention apparatus 102 is mounted to a pulley 100 onto which a wire rope 108 is wound. The winding prevention apparatus 102 comprises: a pair of arms 112a, 112b rotatably attached to both sides of a sheave 106; a pair of side walls 110a, 110b provided to tips of the arms 112a, 112b; and a plurality of beam members (first beam member 114a to third beam member 114c) passing to the side walls 110a, 110b to enclose the wire rope 108.
