The ultrasonic oscillator 12 has a first vibrator 24 installed on a container-side wall 22 and excites the first vibrator 24 over a prescribed excitation period. The receiver 14 has a second vibrator 28 installed on the container-side wall 22. The measuring instrument 16 receives the vibration strength of the second vibrator 28 and measures its time change. The measuring instrument 16 includes a determination unit 30 that determines that a liquid exists in a container 20 when the vibration strength of the second vibrator 28 exceeds a prescribed threshold in a determination period after the elapse of a prescribed standby time from the start point of the excitation period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】従来の超音波式の液体検出とは異なる手法にて容器内の液体有無を検出可能な、液体検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】液体検出装置10は、超音波発振器12、受信器14、及び測定器16を備える。超音波発振器12は、容器側壁22に第一振動子24が設置され所定の励振期間に亘り第一振動子24を励振させる。受信器14は、容器側壁22に第二振動子28が設置される。測定器16は、第二振動子28の振動強度を受信してその時間変化を測定する。測定器16は、励振期間の開始時点から所定の待機時間経過後の判定期間における、第二振動子28の振動強度が、所定の強度閾値を超過したときに、容器20内に液体有りと判定する判定部30を備える。【選択図】図1 |
