Zusammenfassung:To provide a traveling device for a dump truck that can stably suck and circulate a lubricant even during a stop of a vehicle and also during a high speed operation, and improve cooling and lubricating performance for the entire device.SOLUTION: A second carrier 38 used in a planetary gear reduction mechanism 33 on the last stage is fitted to an opening side of a spindle 14 in a non-rotation state. The second carrier 38 is provided with an oil passage 53 that sucks a lubricant 100 in a wheel fitting cylinder 18 and circulates it into a suction conduit 46. The oil passage 53 is constituted of: a first passage part 53A extended vertically (i.e., radially) downward within a support plate 38A of the second carrier 38; and a second passage part 53B axially extended in a coupling part 38C of the second carrier 38 from a lower-end side portion of the first passage part 53A and serving as an inflow end 53C opening in the wheel fitting cylinder 18 between the first planetary gear reduction mechanism 25 and itself.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 車両の停車中でも高速運転時でも潤滑油の吸込み、循環を安定して行うことができ、装置全体の冷却、潤滑性能を向上することができるようにする。【解決手段】 最終段の遊星歯車減速機構33に用いる第2のキャリア38を、スピンドル14の開口側に非回転状態で取付け、第2のキャリア38には、車輪取付筒18内の潤滑油100を吸込み、吸込管路46内へと流通させる油通路53を設けている。油通路53は、第2のキャリア38の支持板38A内を上,下方向(即ち、径方向)の下側へと延びた第1通路部53Aと、該第1通路部53Aの下端側部位から第2のキャリア38の連結部38C内を軸方向に延び第1の遊星歯車減速機構25との間で車輪取付筒18内に開口する流入端53Cとなった第2通路部53Bとにより構成されている。【選択図】 図3
