BEVERAGE COMPOSITION FOR WEIGHT GAIN SUPPRESSION, AND METHOD FOR WEIGHT GAIN SUPPRESSION

To provide a beverage composition for weight gain suppression, placing little burden on the gastrointestinal tract and being able to be realistically ingested as a part of daily dietary life.SOLUTION: The beverage composition for weight gain suppression contains medium chain fatty acid triglyceride, the content of it being 91.5 mass% or more relative to fatty acid triglyceride. A medium chain fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms and a medium chain fatty acid having 10 carbon atoms contained as medium chain fatty acids that constitute the medium chain fatty acid triglyceride are compounded such that the medium chain fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms is 60 mass% or more and the medium chain fatty acid having 10 carbon atoms is 40 mass% or less relative to the total of the medium chain fatty acids. The emulsifier constitutes 30 mg to 2000 mg per 100 kcal of energy of the beverage composition. The content of the medium chain fatty acid triglyceride is 32 mass% or more and 54 mass% or less relative to the beverage composition.
