To appropriately supply ozone and appropriately eliminate NOx.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control system includes: an NOx catalyst 21 provided in an exhaust passage of an engine 10 and eliminating NOx in exhaust gas; an ozone supply device for supplying ozone to the upstream side of the NOx catalyst 21 in the exhaust passage; and an NOx sensor 24 provided downstream of the NOx catalyst 21 and detecting NOx amount in the exhaust gas.
