MULTIPLE BOLUS ADMINISTRATION OF [6R]-MTHF IN 5-FLUOROURACIL-BASED CHEMOTHERAPY

To provide methods for treating solid tumors such as cancer.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method comprising the following regimen a) to e): a) on Day 1, administering an IV bolus containing 10-1000 mg/m(BSA) of 5-FU; then b) either simultaneously or after a period of from 10 min to 4 hours, administering two or more IV boluses, each containing 5-1000 mg/mof [6R]-5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate ([6R]-MTHF) interspaced by a period of 10-60 minutes; c) administering a continuous infusion of 5-FU over a period of 46 hours, or until the end of Day 2; d) optionally administering one IV bolus containing 5-1000 mg/m(BSA) of [6R]-MTHF before the end of Day 1; e) on Day 2, optionally administering one or more IV boluses each containing 5-1000 mg/mof [6R]-MTHF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】癌などの固形腫瘍の治療方法の提供。【解決手段】以下のａ）〜ｅ）の投与計画による方法：ａ）第１日目に、１０〜１０００ｍｇ／ｍ２（ＢＳＡ）の５−ＦＵのＩＶボーラス投与を行う。ｂ）その後同時に、又は１０分〜４時間後に、互いに約１０〜６０分間の間隔を空けた２回以上の５〜１０００ｍｇ／ｍ2の［６Ｒ］−５，１０−メチレンテトラヒドロ葉酸（［６Ｒ］−ＭＴＨＦ）のＩＶボーラス投与を行う。ｃ）５−ＦＵを４６時間ないし第２日目の終わりまで持続注入によって投与する。ｄ）任意に、第１日目が終わる迄に、５〜１０００ｍｇ／ｍ2の［６Ｒ］−ＭＴＨＦのＩＶボーラス投与を１回行う。ｅ）任意に、第２日目に５〜１０００ｍｇ／ｍ2の［６Ｒ］−ＭＴＨＦのＩＶボーラス投与を１又は複数回行う。【選択図】図２
