Zusammenfassung:To provide a water treatment method capable of controlling greenhouse gas emissions and capable of using existing equipment.SOLUTION: There is provided a water treatment method to add an organic carbon source and perform biological nitrification denitrification treatment, including: an oil layer separation step of separating an oil layer containing fatty acid from crude glycerin waste solution by-produced in primary production process of fatty acid alkyl ester made from fat and oil, to take out an aqueous layer containing glycerin; an alcohol separation step of separating monohydric alcohol from the aqueous layer taken out in the oil layer separation step; and a denitrification treatment step of adding the aqueous layer from which monohydric alcohol was separated in the alcohol separation step, as an organic carbon source for the biological nitrification and denitrification treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】温室効果ガスの排出量を抑制するとともに既存設備を用いることが可能な水処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】有機炭素源を添加して生物学的硝化脱窒処理を行なう水処理方法であって、油脂を原料とする脂肪酸アルキルエステルの一次製造工程で副生される粗製グリセリン廃液から脂肪酸が含まれる油層を分離してグリセリンが含まれる水層を取り出す油層分離工程と、前記油層分離工程で取り出された前記水層から1価のアルコールを分離するアルコール分離工程と、前記アルコール分離工程で1価のアルコールが分離された水層を前記生物学的硝化脱窒処理の有機炭素源として添加する脱窒処理工程と、を含む。【選択図】図2
