To provide an attachment for a hair dryer capable of styling hair quickly and easily.SOLUTION: An attachment 10 for a hair dryer provided to an air outlet of a hair dryer includes: a cylindrical hood member 20 having an introduction port 11 on the base end side, and a discharge port 12 on the tip side; a diffusion member 25 having a tapered part in which a plurality of jetting holes 253 are formed on the external surface, which is provided on the base end side inside the hood member 20; and a straightening plate 26 provided so as to partition the inside of the hood member 20 ahead of the diffusion member 25.
