ULTRASONIC ENDOSCOPE

To provide an ultrasonic endoscope capable of visualizing a region in an ultrasonic image where a treatment instrument is highly likely to pass with a clearer image quality.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic endoscope includes: an insertion part inserted into a subject; an ultrasonic transducer provided at the tip of the insertion part, which includes a plurality of piezoelectric element groups that transmit and receive an ultrasonic wave; a connector part provided on the base end side of the insertion part, which includes a plurality of connectors connected to an external device; a treatment instrument channel that causes a treatment instrument inserted from the base end side of the insertion part to protrude from a forceps port provided on the base end side of the ultrasonic transducer; and a cable part in which at least one of coaxial line groups connected to the piezoelectric element groups that transmit an ultrasonic wave to a region where the treatment instrument protruding from the forceps port is highly likely to pass is shorter than coaxial lines connected to the piezoelectric element groups that transmit an ultrasonic wave to a region where the treatment instrument protruding from the forceps port does not pass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】超音波画像内の処置具が通る可能性が高い領域をより明瞭な画質で描出することができる超音波内視鏡を提供すること。【解決手段】超音波内視鏡は、被検体内に挿入される挿入部と、前記挿入部の先端に設けられており、超音波を送受信する複数の圧電素子群を有する超音波振動子と、前記挿入部の基端側に設けられており、外部装置に接続される複数のコネクタを有するコネクタ部と、前記挿入部の基端側から挿通された処置具を前記超音波振動子の基端側に設けられている鉗子口から突出させる処置具チャンネルと、前記鉗子口から突出した前記処置具が通過する可能性が高い領域に超音波を送信する圧電素子群に接続される同軸線群の少なくとも１本が、前記鉗子口から突出した前記処置具が通過しない領域に超音波を送信する圧電素子群に接続される同軸線より短いケーブル部と、を備える。【選択図】図４
