Zusammenfassung:	To achieve protection of an optical sensor of a driver supporting system for a motor vehicle.SOLUTION: An optical element 9 is arranged on the front side of an optical component 14 which an optical sensor 13 for capturing an image includes to protect the optical sensor from water, mud, flying stone or the like. The optical element is structured to rotate around a rotational axis A1 by an actuator and to clean itself by a centrifugal force effect. A heating element 7 heats the optical element to remove fogging or frosting on a surface of the optical element.
