Zusammenfassung:	To provide a steel refining method which is effective for increasing a melting yield of scrap or the like.SOLUTION: This method for refining steel by using a converter-type container comprises: charging scrap or the like together with molten iron in a converter-type container to perform a preliminary treatment for desiliconization; conducting intermediate slag discharge for discharging at least a part of slag generated at the time of the preliminary treatment for desiliconization, carrying out a treatment for promoting melting of the scrap or the like by a heat source by injecting oxygen and charging a carbon material into the converter-type container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】スクラップ等の溶解歩留を上げるのに有効な製鋼精錬の方法の提案をすること。【解決手段】転炉型容器内に溶銑とともにスクラップ等を装入して脱珪のための予備処理を行ない、次いで、その脱珪のための予備処理時に生成したスラグの少なくともその一部を排出する中間排滓の処理を行ない、この処理の後、該転炉型容器内に炭材を装入すると共に酸素を吹精することによる熱源によってスクラップ等の溶解促進処理を行なう転炉型容器による製鋼精錬方法。【選択図】図１
