To provide a protector which has good appearance, and further, in which a damage can be suppressed at an engagement site between a main body and a lid body.SOLUTION: A protector 10 includes: a main body 20 in which lateral wall portions 22A, 22B stand from both side edges of a bottom wall portion 21 such that the bottom wall portion 21 and the lateral wall portions 22A, 22B form a housing portion 23 for accommodating an electric wire bundle 1; a lid body 50 which is attached to the main body 20 so as to cover the housing portion 23; a flange portion 25 which is provided in parallel with the outer surface side of the one lateral wall portion 22A of the main body 20 so as to extend along the longitudinal direction with a gap therebetween on the upper side; multiple engagement holes 28 provided below the flange portion 25; and multiple engagement claws 54 which are provided on one edge of the lid body 50, and which are inserted in the gap between the lateral wall portion 22A and the flange portion 25, and thereby, are locked with engagement edges 27 of the engagement holes 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】見栄えが良く、しかも、本体と蓋体との係合箇所における破損を抑制可能なプロテクタを提供すること。【解決手段】プロテクタ１０は、底壁部２１の両側縁から側壁部２２Ａ，２２Ｂが立設されて底壁部２１と側壁部２２Ａ，２２Ｂとによって電線束１を収容する収容部２３が形成された本体２０と、本体２０に装着されて収容部２３を覆う蓋体５０と、本体２０における一方の側壁部２２Ａの外面側に、長手方向に沿って上方に隙間をあけて並行に延設されたフランジ部２５と、フランジ部２５の下方に設けられた複数の係合孔２８と、蓋体５０の一方の縁部に設けられ、側壁部２２Ａとフランジ部２５との間の隙間に挿し込まれることで係合孔２８の係合縁部２７に係止される複数の係合爪５４と、を備える。【選択図】図４
