Zusammenfassung: | To provide a toner which has good fogging in a long-term use and reduces member contamination, and can suppress electrostatic off-set.SOLUTION: A toner contains toner base particles containing a binder resin, amorphous polyester and a colorant, where the binder resin contains a vinyl resin, an average white part area ratio obtained by subjecting the toner base particles observed with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to binarization treatment on the following conditions is 10% or less, and a theoretical specific surface area A (m/g) obtained from number-based particle size distribution and true density of the toner base particles and a specific surface area B (m/g) measured by a BET method satisfy the following expression (1): 0.450≤B≤1.500 and expression (2): 1.23≤B/A≤1.60. How to determine white part area ratio: [Photographic condition] scanning electron microscope: S-4800, photographic magnitude: 2,000 times, photographic image: SE image, acceleration voltage: 2.0 kV, acceleration current: 10.0 μA, probe current: Normal, focus mode: UHR, and WD: 5.0 mm. 【課題】長期間の使用にわたって良好なカブリ特性、および部材汚染を低減させ、さらには静電オフセットを抑制することができるトナーが得られる。【解決手段】結着樹脂、非晶性ポリエステル及び着色剤を含有するトナー母粒子を有するトナーであって、該結着樹脂はビニル樹脂を含有し、走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)で観察される該トナー母粒子から、下記条件で二値化処理することによって得られる平均白部面積率が10%以下であり、該トナー母粒子の個数基準の粒度分布、真密度から得られる理論比表面積A(m2/g)と、BET法によって測定される比表面積B(m2/g)が以下の式(1)、(2)を満たすことを特徴とする。0.450≦B≦1.500・・・(1)1.23≦B/A≦1.60・・・(2)白部面積率の求め方[撮影条件]走査型電子顕微鏡:S−4800、撮影倍率:2000倍、撮影像:SE像、加速電圧:2.0kV、加速電流:10.0μA、プローブ電流:Normal、焦点モード:UHR、WD:5.0mm[面積率測定条件]画像処理ソフト:Image Jを用い、撮影画像の背景を全黒化後に二値化処理を実施し、トナーの重心を中心にして粒径の50%四方の中の白部面積率を算出。【選択図】なし |
