To provide a continuous coating device capable of accurately coating long-size film with coating liquid while performing continuous transportation by roll-to-roll.SOLUTION: A continuous coating device 10 for applying a predetermined pattern by performing continuous transportation of long-size film 2 includes: a coating roll 1 which rotates around a central axis of a roll body as the approximately cylindrical roll body provided with an alignment pattern 11 on a film contacting surface on which the long-size film 2 is wound; a pattern reading part 12 which reads the alignment pattern 11; a coating head 5 which applies a predetermined pattern onto the long-size film 2 wound on the coating roll 1; and a control part 9 which controls coating movement of the coating head 5.
