EVALUATION METHOD OF SKIN CONDITION

To provide an evaluation method of a skin condition, capable of properly evaluating a skin condition by calculating further accurately a melanin index MI by not receiving an influence due to difference of a degree of oxygen saturation of haemoglobin.SOLUTION: An evaluation method for evaluating a skin condition by using a melanin index MI reflecting an amount of melanin contained in the skin includes obtaining a melanin index MI from an apparent first absorbance Ameasured when irradiating the skin with light including a first absorption coefficient ratio wave length λ11, and an apparent second absorbance Ameasured when irradiating the skin with light including a second absorption coefficient ratio wave length λ12, when the wave lengths of two points 11,12 in which a haemoglobin interspecies absorption coefficient ratio as a ratio of an absorption coefficient on an absorption coefficient spectrum of oxyhemoglobin to an absorption coefficient on an absorption coefficient spectrum of deoxyhemoglobin becomes equal are the first absorption coefficient ratio wave length λ11 and the second absorption coefficient ratio wave length λ12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ヘモグロビンの酸素飽和度の相違による影響を受けないようにして、メラニンインデックスＭＩをさらに精度良く算定できるようにすることで、肌の状態を適正に評価することを可能にする肌状態の評価方法を提供する。【解決手段】皮膚に含まれるメラニン量を反映するメラニンインデックスＭＩを用いて肌の状態を評価する評価方法であって、メラニンインデックスＭＩを、オキシヘモグロビンの吸光係数スペクトル上の吸光係数とデオキシヘモグロビンの吸光係数スペクトル上の吸光係数との比である、ヘモグロビン種間吸光係数比が等しくなる２点１１，１２の波長を第１等吸光係数比波長λ11及び第２等吸光係数比波長λ12として、第１等吸光係数比波長λ11を含む光を皮膚に照射した際に計測される見かけ上の第１吸光度Ａλ１１と、第２等吸光係数比波長λ12を含む光を皮膚に照射した際に計測される見かけ上の第２吸光度Ａλ１２とから求める。【選択図】図１
