AIR BAG DEVICE

To provide an air bag device which can spread a bag body smoothly and can restrict an upper body of a crew member.SOLUTION: The air bag device 10 comprises an inflator 11 which generates high pressure gas at impact input time and the bag body 20 which expands and spreads from a seat back 3 of a seat 1 for the vehicle by receiving supply of the gas from the inflator 11. The bag body 20 comprises a body support part 23 which develops the body of the crew member on side opposed to the seat back 3 by interposing the body of the crew member seated on the seat 1 for the vehicle and a pair of head support parts 25 which expands on respective both sides in width direction of the seat 1 for the vehicle by interposing the head of the crew member and simultaneously connects to the body support part 23. There are formed on the bag body 20 a relief part 27 which penetrates between the pair of head support parts 25 in vertical direction in expanding state and avoids the head of the crew member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】袋体を円滑に展開でき、かつ乗員の上半身を拘束できるエアバッグ装置を提供する。【解決手段】エアバッグ装置１０は、衝撃入力時に高圧のガスを発生するインフレータ１１と、インフレータ１１からのガスの供給を受けて車両用シート１のシートバック３から膨張展開する袋体２０と、を備える。袋体２０は、車両用シート１に着座する乗員の胴体を挟んでシートバック３とは反対側に展開する胴体支持部２３と、乗員の頭部を挟んで車両用シート１の幅方向における両側にそれぞれ展開するとともに、胴体支持部２３に接続する一対の頭部支持部２５と、を備える。袋体２０には、展開状態において一対の頭部支持部２５の間で上下方向に貫通し、乗員の頭部を避ける逃げ部２７が形成されている。【選択図】図２
