Zusammenfassung:	To provide a highly efficient LED lighting device corresponding to various LED modules and detecting an optimum operating condition for each light source module.SOLUTION: In a step-down chopper type LED lighting circuit operating in a critical mode depending on the characteristic of an LED module, a direct current voltage which is about twice the operating voltage of the LED module, which corresponds to a condition for the lowest oscillation frequency, is controlled so as to be input to the LED lighting circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】様々なＬＥＤモジュールに対応するＬＥＤ点灯装置において、光源モジュール毎に最適な動作条件を検出し、高効率なＬＥＤ点灯装置を提供する。【解決手段】ＬＥＤモジュールの特性に依存する臨界モードで動作する降圧チョッパー方式のＬＥＤ点灯回路において、発振周波数が最も低くなる条件であるＬＥＤモジュールの動作電圧の約２倍となる直流電圧をＬＥＤ点灯回路へ入力するよう制御する。【選択図】図１
