ADAPTOR ATTACHMENT METHOD OF GAS METER AND ADAPTOR UNIT OF GAS METER

To propose an adaptor attachment method of a gas meter capable of simply changing from a single use specification to an adapter attachment use specification of the gas meter without reducing appearance quality of the gas meter of the single use specification.SOLUTION: An adaptor attachment method of a gas meter prepares an adaptor attachment terminal cover 30 having an adaptor attachment portion 32 capable of attaching a cover portion 31 serving as a terminal cover 6 as the terminal cover 6 of a gas meter 1A and an adaptor 20. In the case of the gas meter 1A of the single use specification, the ordinary terminal cover 6 is used as it is by being attached to a meter case 2. Since a mechanism for adaptor attachment is not arranged on the gas meter 1A, a portion of the mechanism is exposed, and harmful influences such as the deterioration of the appearance level are not caused. The gas meter 1A of the single use specification can be simply changed to a gas meter 1C of the adaptor attachment specification only by exchanging the terminal cover 6 to the adaptor attachment terminal cover 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】単独仕様のガスメータの外観品位を低下させることなく、単独仕様からアダプタ取付仕様のガスメータへの変更を簡単にできるガスメータのアダプタ取付方法を提案すること。【解決手段】ガスメータ１Ａの端子カバー６として、端子カバー６として機能するカバー部分３１とアダプタ２０を取付け可能なアダプタ取付部分３２を備えたアダプタ取付用端子カバー３０を用意する。単独仕様のガスメータ１Ａの場合には、通常の端子カバー６をそのままメータケース２に取り付けて使用する。アダプタ取付用の機構がガスメータ１に配置されていないので、当該機構の部分が露出して外観品位が悪化するなどの弊害は起きない。端子カバー６をアダプタ取付用端子カバー３０に交換するだけで、簡単に、単独仕様のガスメータ１Ａを、アダプタ取付仕様のガスメータ１Ｃに変更できる。【選択図】図１
