Zusammenfassung: | To prevent corrosion caused by contact of dissimilar metal when lap-joining a titanium-based material and a ferrous material.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a dissimilar metal joined body obtained by lap joining a titanium-based material and a ferrous material includes: a step of applying a resin-based sealing material onto a region including a junction of at least the titanium-based material and the ferrous material in an overlapping region of the titanium-based material and the ferrous material with respect to at least one surface of the titanium-based material and the ferrous material; a step of overlapping the titanium-based material and the ferrous material so that a sealing material is interposed between the titanium-based material and the ferrous material; and a step of joining titanium-based material and the ferrous material using friction-agitation joining, in this order. In the joining step, the sealing material is interposed all over from the circumference of the junction to the end of the overlapping region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
